our Ministers

Rev. Johnnie Little believes that God has set him aside to serve in ministry and to be a voice for God’s vision and mission in the church and community.  Rev. Little has attended the School of Theology of Bethel Missionary Baptist Church and Moody Bible Institute.  For 24 years, Rev. Little has labored in prison and outreach ministries. Currently at Greater Salem Missionary Baptist Church, Rev. Little is an Associate Minister and Assistant Sunday School Superintendent under the Pastoral leadership of Rev. Dr. Leon Jenkins, Jr.  Rev. Little is married to Sis. Georgia Archibald-Little and they have six children.

Rev. Georgia Archibald-Little was born in Chicago, the 3rd oldest of 8 children. Rev. Archibald-Little attended Edward Jenner Elementary School on Chicago’s Near North Side. She graduated in 1981 from Waller High School, which later changed its name to Lincoln Park High School. She graduated with an Associate’s Degree in Business from Harry S. Truman College. Rev. Archibald-Little held a variety of distinguished positions before joining the Illinois Secretary State Office in July of 2000. Later she became the executive assistant to Secretary of State, Jesse White.

 

Rev. Archibald-Little joined Greater Salem Missionary Baptist Church in September 1986, where she became a loyal and faithful member.  She sang in the Senior and Sanctuary Choirs, along with other groups. She volunteered with the activities of young people, the clothing drives, Thanksgiving and Christmas basket giveaways, as well as working with Pre-paid Legal issues. Currently, she works alongside 1st Lady Jenkins as a teacher for Children’s Church.

 

Rev. Archibald-Little loves helping others and serving her community as a volunteer when needed. Her hobbies are:  stepping, volleyball, skating, party decorating, reading God’s word, cooking and creating desserts such as her famous banana pudding and spaghetti dishes. She loves helping the elderly when she can.

 

Since July 2008, Rev. Georgia Archibald-Little has been married to Rev. Johnnie Little.

Rev.-Dr. Sheila Harmon is the wife of Dea. Quentin Harmon, Sr. and mother to 5 beautiful children. She is a Sunday School Teacher, Chairperson for the Women’s Day Empowerment Workshop, a member of the Adult & Sanctuary Choirs, and Ministerial Staff.

 

In her professional career, she has been a Registered Nurse for over 30 years and a Certified Diabetes Educator for over 13 years. She is an Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) and a Patient-Centered Medical Home Certified Content Expert (PCMH-CCE). Rev.-Dr. Harmon is currently a Community Board Member for the Chicago Chapter of the American Diabetes Association (ADA) and a media relations spokesperson for the American Association of Diabetes Educators (AADE). If you google her name, you will find videos and commercials that feature her passion as a Diabetes Educator.

 

Rev.-Dr. Harmon received her Bachelor’s (BSN) degree in Nursing from Chicago State University in 1988, and her Master’s (MSN) in Nursing as a Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) in 2007 and as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) in 2013 from Governor’s State University.

 

Rev.-Dr. Harmon signs her professional name as Sheila A. Harmon, MSN, APRN, CDE, PCMH-CCE. Regardless of all of the personal degrees, titles, initials, and etc…. her most significant title is Servant, Child of God.
